Louis de Sacy owns and exploits a vineyards of 50 acres, which
covers nearly their whole need in grape supplies. This estate allows
the company to hold permanent control as to the constant quality of
their production and creation cycles.
Their situation of handling merchants allows them to buy grape
outside the estate, with high concern for origin and quality so as
to ensure the constant quality of their Champagne wines in years
where crops should have been lessened by the weather caprices of the
region.
The wine estate of Louis de Sacy consists
in more or less large plots of land distributed with harmony in
various places. Soils, in Champagne villages, in the heart of the
three main Champagne wine production areas : the Montagne de Reims
(Pinot Noir type), the Marne Valley (Pinot Meunier type) and Cote
des Blancs (Chardonnay type). Each soil has its own specific climate,
hygrometry, hydrometry, hours of sunshine and earth nature which
characterise the types, taste, flavours and scents of the Champagne
wines produced.
