The Nieto Senetiner winery has produced wines in the zone of Luján de Cuyo since its beginning. They have two wineries there (one in Vistalba and the other in Carrodilla) as well as their vineyards. The region, known as one of the best for the cultivation of varieties of high quality, is located at the foot of the Andes mountain range. The planted varieties are refined by the characteristics of the shallow rocky soils, by irrigation with pure water from the melting snow of the mountain range and by a large day - night temperature variation.

These conditions act favorable on the maturity of the grapes, permitting the production of big wines, robust and of great complexity. Luján de Cuyo is one of the best regions for the cultivation of high quality red varieties. Here, the Nieto Senetiner Winery concentrates the largest area of vineyards to Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot and Syrah.
